Captain Marty Moran has been fishing the offshore canyons of Ocean City, MD since 1981. His knowledge and experience will help to ensure a successful day on the water. Marty has fished and placed in many local tournaments to include the Ocean City Tuna Tournament, Mako Mania Tournament and the prestigious White Marlin Open with lst Place Blue Marlin and MD State record until August 2009, when Robert Farris fishing aboard the "No Problem" returned to the docks with a 1062lb Blue Marlin and new MD State Record beating out our old record of 942lb by 120lbs.  What a Fish! and congratulation to the crew of the No Problem.

Tuna fishing has been slow in the Fall for the last several years, however the White Marlin fishing has been world class.  Only problem is the lack of charters!  If the Marlin fishing holds up in 2010 as it has for the last 3 years, I would recommend you try to book a charter in Ocean City in September as the Marlin fishing has been as good as it gets.

Whether fishing for Marlin, Tuna, Dolphin or Wahoo, Marty will always do his best to make your day on the Ocean a memorable one. So, on your next offshore trip "Put the Fun back in your Fishing" aboard the Marlin Magic.

We have had the new boat for 2 years now and it has worked out nicely. With a 30 kt. cruise speed (39 knot top end) the run to the fishing grounds has definitely gotten shorter.

The Marlin Magic is not your typical Charter boat.  It is an upscale Sport Fishing Vessel with many luxuries found only on fine yachts.  It is truly one of the nicest boats available for Charter on the East Cost.  The Marlin Magic is both fast and comfortable.  If you are use to the finer things in life, the Marlin Magic is the boat you want to be on.  We are available for some tournaments and we just won the OCTT on July 13th, 2008. Most releases in the Mako Mania tournment 2009 and a respectable finish in the White Marlin open.
